The Ohio River Players of Southeastern Illinois

The second play presented by the Ohio River Players was “Pecos Bill and Slue-Foot Sue Meet the Dirty Dan Gang” by Tim Kelly.. (Produced by special arrangement with PIONEER DRAMA SERVICE, INC., Englewood, Co.) The story takes play in the dusty town of Prairie Dog . Slue-Foot Sue and Pecos Bill come to the rescue of Granny by capturing Dirty Dan and his gang. Bill’s trusty side-kick Clever Coyote helps keep the gang on the straight and narrow. Half of the cast consisted of students from Pope County and Johnson County. The play was presented on October 10, 2003 to the student body and October 11 to the community in Pope County. The facility used this time was the Pope County High School.
